These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Adapt Home LLC ("Adapt Home," "we," "us," or "our"), an Arizona home security company based in Gilbert, Arizona. By using our website, requesting a quote, booking an appointment, opting in to text messages, or buying services from us, you agree to these Terms. If you sign a separate written agreement with us, that agreement controls where it differs from these Terms.

1. Who we are and what we do

Adapt Home designs, sells, installs and services home and business security systems, security cameras, video doorbells, home automation, medical alert devices and monitored smoke and carbon monoxide detection for customers throughout Arizona. Professional alarm monitoring is provided through a monitoring center.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are estimates. A quote, whether built on our website, prepared in person, or sent by email or text, is based on the information available at the time. Final pricing is confirmed once we have seen the property and the equipment it needs.
Validity. A quote is valid for the period stated on it. After that, prices may change.
Promotions. Offers are subject to the conditions stated with them and may end at any time before an order is confirmed.

3. Your agreement with us

Your system, equipment, warranty, monitoring term, monthly rate, cancellation terms and any credit check are set out in the written agreement you sign with us. Please read it carefully. It controls over these Terms for everything it covers.

If you buy from us in your home, or anywhere other than our place of business, you may have the right to cancel within three business days under the Federal Trade Commission's Cooling-Off Rule. Your agreement explains how to cancel.

4. Appointments and access

Rescheduling. If you need to move an appointment or installation, please tell us as early as you can.
Access. You agree to give us safe access to the property, to the areas where equipment will be installed, and to power and internet where the system needs them. A person aged 18 or older must be present during installation.
Renters. If you rent, you are responsible for any permission your landlord requires.

5. Monitoring and its limits

Communication paths. Monitoring depends on working cellular and/or internet connections and power. Outages, carrier problems or power loss outside our control can interrupt it.
Your part. Please keep your emergency contacts and passcode current, test your system as recommended, and tell us promptly about any fault.
Not insurance. Adapt Home and the monitoring center are not insurers. A security system reduces risk; it cannot guarantee that a loss, injury or crime will not happen. Keep appropriate property and liability insurance.

6. Alarm permits and false alarms

Some Arizona cities and counties require a monitored alarm to be registered or permitted. The permit, any renewal and any fees are the responsibility of the system owner, as are false-alarm fines a city or county may charge. We will show you how to use your system to avoid false alarms.

7. Text messaging (SMS) terms

If you opt in to text messages from Adapt Home LLC:

Messages are sent by Adapt Home LLC about your quote, appointments, installation and service reminders, and notices about your system or account.
Message frequency varies with your quote, appointments and service needs.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's plan.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call or text (833) 902-5036.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile opt-in data and phone number are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Using this website

Content. The text, photos and design of adapthome.net belong to Adapt Home LLC or are used with permission. You may read and share them for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, Adapt Home LLC's total liability for any claim arising from our services or this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including losses a security system was intended to help prevent, except where such a limitation is not allowed by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. If a dispute arises, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved with a conversation. If we cannot resolve it, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at this address with its effective date. Continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
